San Diego Padres' ace Jake Peavy pitched well in his return from this disabled list in at 9-0 win against the Dodgers. The right-hander gave up just three hits in six innings, striking out four and walking none. If there was any doubt about Peavy being effective off the DL, he removed it with his first start.
