Detroit ace Justin Verlander has been a disappointment this season with nine losses and a 4.65 ERA (a run higher than last year, when he was an All-Star). Verlander needs to pitch well more consistently, like last night, when he threw a complete game, giving up four hits, one earned run and no walks against the White Sox.
