Gary Sheffield has been out since 5/27 with an oblique injury, but he is reportedly close to returning.  But because he has struggled so far this year in the aging Tigers' lineup (hitting .213 with 3 HR and 12 RBIs), it would be wise for fantasy owners to avoid the aging Sheffield and pursue more powerful options at DH.
