Mat Gamel, a third baseman for Double-A Huntsville, had his 53 game on-base streak snapped last night. But all is not lost for Gamel, who has been extremely good this year, hitting .380 with a 1.109 OPS. The thing that has kept him from the majors is his ability with the glove, but look for Gamel to get a shot with the Brewers soon.
