Even though Florida State was up on Witchita State 6-0 in the second inning (a game they went on to win 11-4), it appeared that momentum had turned when a FSU fan stole a foul ball from the FSU 3B who was ready to catch it. The very next pitch, WSU's Andy Dirks belted a 2-run HR, but the Seminols settled down and won easily to go to the College World Series.
