Dayan Viciedo, one of the top prospects in Cuba, has defected to the United States in order to play baseball professionally.  The 18-year-old third baseman was 15 when he was included on the World Baseball Classic's Cuban team, had previously played for Villa Clara, which is one of Cuba's top teams.
