Two years ago, the Oakland A's made the decision to change Brad Ziegler's style to a sidearm pitcher. The move has done wonders for Ziegler, who had a 1.14 ERA in AA and a 2.96 ERA in AAA. During that time, he had a 3:1 groundball-flyball ratio and held righties to a .114 average. With this success, Ziegler was promoted to the majors three days ago.
