Maybe not stat related, per se, but instant replay will affect the accuracy of umpire's calls. And better on field accuracy means more precise stats. Take a moment and think of a blown call, any one. I'm sure you can think of more than one. Is the purity of the sport worth allowing blown calls that could be easily remedied?
