Rice, consistently one of the best teams in the NCAA, was knocked out of its conference tournament, 4-3, against East Carolina.  ECU Senior T.J. Hose was the main reason for the upset, giving ECU 4 1/3 hitless innings.  Look for Hose in both the College World Series and the MLB draft.
