Leaving runners on base is always frustrating for a team and its fans as they are missing out on potential runs. A look at the number of runners left on base (LOB) and the team’s offensive production leads to interesting conclusions. As four out of the top five offenses in the league top the charts on LOB, this may not be the best measure of effectiveness.
