With Jason Isringhausen on the disabled list, Ryan Franklin has taken over the ninth inning pitching duties. Though he hasn't done anything to provoke losing the role, Chris Perez has done many things to earn it . With his overpowering fastball and much improved control, we should expect to see Perez in the clubhouse by July.
