As he’s aged, Mike Mussina has lost the speed of his pitches which made him a dominant strikeout pitcher. He now has the fifth slowest fastball of all non-knuckleball pitchers and the slowest changeup. Despite his limitations, he has c hanged his pitching style to a groundout pitcher and restored his name as a top pitcher.
