Rumors have it that the Cubs want Jim Edmonds and Edmonds wants the Cubs . Cubs GM Jim Hendry wouldn't comment about the 37-year-old center fielder because, until Wednesday, he's still San Diego property. The Cubs are betting that Edmonds numbers were affected by a Spring Training injury.
