Pat Neshek knew things were very, very bad when he heard the pop in his elbow after the pitch that struck out Nick Swisher. MRI shows a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament that, the Twins say, doesn't need surgery. As is, the injury will take him out for the season, completely halting all pitching for three months. The Twins will need to figure out how to fill in the gaps without their "fire extinguisher" in the bullpen.
