Sabermetricians all around have been studying baseball, its stats, and its players, and they're improving the evaluation process for players' real value as producers. But, in the baseball business, there're moves made that defy statistics; there're players signed that shouldn't be,--according to their stats that is. So how do we really assign a players' value? Here's a little article trying to brainstorm some ideas on where to go with researching the actual percieved value in the public's eye.
