The Flordia Marlins, with the lowest payroll in the league, are not known for keeping their young stars (Miguel Cabrera, Josh Beckett), but things may be changing in Miami. Marlins' shortstop Hanley Ramirez has reportedly agreed to a six-year, $70 million extension, the richest contract in club history.
