Richie Sexson was cited for “violent and aggressive actions” and suspended for six games after charging the mound and flinging his helmet at Texas pitcher Kason Gabbard. The 6-foot-8 slugger was ejected from the game, but his suspension will be delayed until after his appeal hearing.

Update - MLB lowered Sexson's suspension to five games. He'll begin the suspension during Saturday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
