The Pirates demoted Nyger Morgan Thursday because of both a lack of playing time and his struggles at the plate.  Morgan, an outfielder known for his speed and fielding ability, was the odd man out in Pittsburgh's outfield, but figures to return soon because of the special things he brings to the team.
