In a birage of stories posted by the Hardball Report today from the Hardball Times, here's another very interesting article. THT takes a look at why judging a pitcher's effectiveness based on his win/loss record is idiotic. They specifically look at, among other pitchers, the struggles of Kenny Rogers and the way the Tigers bailed him out by scoring 19 runs against the Rangers in a game he should have lost.
