Yankee’s catcher, Jorge Posada will find his name on the DL for the first time in is fourteen year career. For now he is listed as out for 15 days, but no one knows for sure how long it will be. An MRI taken a few weeks back revealed a mild muscle tear. He is scheduled for a second MRI in the next few days which will tell what is really wrong with his ailing right shoulder.

It was idiotic for NYY to resign Posada. He's 35 and his body, like all other catchers, was bound to break down. This contract was nothing more than a life-time achievement award that Posada received as a thank you from the Yankees.
