Philadelphia Phillies minor leaguer Antonio Bastardo, a starting pitcher for the Clearwater, Fla., Threshers, threw a two-hit shutout against the Tampa Yankees yesterday, racking up 13 Ks in the process. Bastardo, a Dominican Native, leads the minors this year in strikeouts, and Clearwater manager Razor Shines says he would be surprised if Bastardo doesn't move quickly up through the ranks.
