It's safe to say that Joba Chamberlin has been the most impressive young pitcher so far this season, but what about the other young players that were highly regarded before the start of the 2008 season?  Scoutingbook.com analyzes the performances of Clay Buchholz, Ian Kennedy, Tampa Bay's Jeff Niemann and others thus far.

safe to say?

i wouldn't say its safe to say joba is the most impressive so far. clay buchholz has done really well for only his first full season starting. he has allowed 3 runs or less in 3 of his 4 starts. both he and joba are 1-1, and though joba's era is better. i dont think its "safe to say" that joba is any more impressive than buchholz. who has the no-no?
