There has been great controversy over where Frank Thomas might end up. It seems that the top teams in the running to acquire him are now down to Oakland, Kansas City, and Seattle. Thomas has reportedly received an offer from the Joliet Jackhammers, part of the independent Northern League, however, the A’s appear to be leading the race for an offer to Thomas in the majors and intend could go into negotiations in as little as 48 hours .
