Rockies' Barmes Provides Short-Term Fix

Clint Barmes has taken over as the starting shortstop for the Colorado Rockies and has shown no signs of giving it up. He is hitting .400 and could provide a short-term fix for those fantasy teams lacking a middle infielder. Barmes's average will come back down (career .258 hitter), but take advantage of his streak while you can.

Clint Barmes hasnt even been in the majors for very long. before he got injured two years ago or so, he was doing really well. even though his career average isnt spectacular, everyone has to start somewhere. i think he'll end up doing very well consistently in the next two years.
