The Jays are certainly off to a rough start, especially after letting slugger Frank Thomas go after a clubhouse explosion set off by his benching by management. Many fans are now looking for the Blue Jays’ staff to sign another controversial slugger, Barry Bonds. Though Bonds and his agents have expressed interest in a deal, the Jays have maxed out their payroll for this year and do not seem to be returning the same interest.
