It seems to be a sign of the apocolypse in Chicago that Carlos Zambrano is being examined for an injury and Rich Harden is being skipped in the rotation in September. This, compounded with the fact that the Cubs were just swept by the Astros, people should watch out for other people flying off of the roofs.
In order to try to bridge the gap for the Cubs until Harden and Zambrano return to the rotation, Kevin Hart was called up Wednesday. Not to replace either player, but rather just simply because the Cubs can call him up now that their rosters are expanding.
