Well, replay is now offically a part of Major League Baseball, but its debut proved the criticisms to be right.  Replay didn't do anything to solve the caper of whether Alex Rodriguez's ninth inning shot was indeed fair.  In the end, the replay upheld the decision on the field, and gave A-Rod the home run. It didn't help, however, that the homer in question took place in Tampa Bay, which has a yellow sign behind its yellow foul poll.  And there's no word at this point about whether the umpires used the reaction of A-Rod to say if it was fair or foul, as Rick Sutcliffe suggested during the game.
