A hard collision at the plate with Chase Utley left Nationals catcher Jesus Flores in serious pain on Tuesday night. Flores had to be taken off the field on a stretcher with an ankle injury and was replaced by Will Nieves. Early indications were that Flores would be done for the year, but x-rays revealed no break, only a sprain.
