It seemed baffling to think that the Detroit Tigers would win the World Series with Todd Jones as their closer. And, as it turns out, no one will likely ever see Jones with the Tigers again because the Tigers are attempting to pursue a youth movement in September. There's also the fact that Jones' season (and possibly career) could be over because of the arm troubles he has had this season.
