Chicago White Sox DH Jim Thome was in a 5-34 slump before blasting a two-run shot in the 4th inning of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Thome tied Jimmie Foxx with his 534th home run, good enough for 15th on the all time list. The veteran has 27 home runs on the year, a solid season for someone turning 38 soon.
