Furture Hall of Famer Tom Glavine does have a partial tear in the flexor tendon in his elbow, but the good news is that there is no ligament damage. Glavine will not pitch this season, but has expressed an interest in pitching next year. His only request is to remain in Atlanta, close to his home and family. Now it's all up to the Braves whether they want to take the risk on Glavine next year. One thing is for sure though, the left hander has certainly earned a contract offer.
