Young players are getting insane contracts. Here's a look at the contract the Reds gave their number one pick, Yonder Alonso. The contract is worth $4.55 million dollars, plus a few perks to make anyone drool. He waited so long to sign, because he wanted to be on the 40-man roster of a Major League team. He's got it, having done nothing to earn it beyond being a number one pick.
