Well that didn't last very long. Braves LHP Tom Glavine was activated from the DL Thursday just in time to give up 7 runs on 7 hits in 4 innings of work. The future Hall-of-Famer has now been sent back to the DL after spending the last two months there, this time with a strained left elbow. At 42 years-of-age, this may very well be the last we see of Glavine. He has nothing left to prove, and his 300 plus wins ranks him among the best pitchers to ever play the game.
