As the weeks wind down on the 2008 season, it seems that more and more injuries are happening. The most recent example is Thursday, when three big-name pitchers were placed on the disabled list. This list includes two from the NL West: Brad Penny (who will have an MRI on his shoulder Friday) and Chris Young (likely done for the season with a strained forearm). And Tampa Bay's closer Troy Percival (who was on crutches after the Rays' 12-inning win).
