The common theme among many of the websites that I check on a daily basis is that the Yankees, who've been ravaged by injuries throughout the season, are done. After falling to Minnesota Wednesday night, they are nine games behind the Rays in the AL East and six behind Boston. And even though the Rays are experiencing thier own injury problems, New York's lack of starting pitching and overall age problems seems to spell doom for the Bronx Bombers.
