After going 1-9 in their recent road trip, the A’s new they needed something different—particularly at third base. This is where Cliff Pennington comes into the picture. Their 2005 first pick, Pennington had a .280 BA, two HR, 34 RBIs, 31 stolen bases, and a Minor’s high 93 walks. Hopefully, he’ll be able to help turn things around.
