Tampa Bay's rookie third baseman Evan Longoria was placed on the 15-day DL alongside outfielder Carl Crawford with a right wrist fracture on Monday. Longoria's DL stint is retroactive to Friday, when he was hit by a J.J. Putz pitch. Longoria is expected to miss three weeks, a crushing blow to the AL East leading Rays.
