After pinch-hitting in the Cardinals' loss Sunday night, Rick Ankiel was thought to be ready to return to the Cardinals Tuesday night. But Tuesday came and went, as did Wednesday, and now the Cardinals' CF has not started in 10 consecutive games. And as long as Ankiel can't run because of an abdominal injury, he won't start, which means that he could miss this weekend's key series against the Cubs in Chicago.
