The Mets and Billy Wagner dodged a bullet last month when the New York closer's MRI revealed nothing but a muscle spasm in his shoulder (how an MRI shows a spasm is still confounding, but that's what the team said). This time, both parties are wishing for a similar result when Wagner undergoes an MRI on his strained left forearm Tuesday.
