If NBC decides to show baseball in the Olympics, one might be surprised to see what happens if one of the games goes past the 11th inning. If teams get past this point, each team will get runners on first and second and be allowed to choose where in their batting order they start the inning. It's safe to say that MLB will not adopt this strategy (they don't even have replay), but it will surely be interesting to see if this adds drama to the end of the games - like the college football overtime situation - or if baseball is best when the end of the game is unexpected. We'll see.
