Talk about making a good first impression. Newly acquired OF Jason Bay hit a triple and scored the winning run for Boston in his debut against the Oakland A's Friday night. Rookie Jed Lowrie sent his new teammate home with a 2-out single in the bottom of the 12th inning as the Red Sox went on to a 2-1 victory. The Fenway faithful welcomed Bay with a standing ovation and it appears that Manny Ramirez is all but an after thought, at least for now.
