The latest from Seattle has them backing out on a deal that had them getting two major leaguers from Toronto for Raul Ibanez. As frequently as Ibanez's name has come up in the months leading up to the deadline, it seemed like the M's were ready to part ways. However, No reason has been stated on why the deal fell through.
