Five teams have reportedly inquired about Huston Street, and with George Sherrill reportedly off of the market, Billy Beane is reportedly looking to deal his closer if he can get full value in return (something that seems more likely as the trade deadline approaches).

The teams interested in Street are the White Sox, Mets, Dodgers, Rays and Brewers. The White Sox and Mets would likely use Street as a set-up man and insurance plan for Bobby Jenks and Billy Wagner, respectively.  The Dodgers, Rays and Brewres, however, would likely consider placing Street at the back-end of their bullpen if they were to acquire him.  With that being said, the most likely to acquire Street seems to be the Mets, whose problem is the reluctance to trade their top prospects. Once again, stay tuned.
