Fireballer Francisco Rodney made his first appearance as Detroit closer in today's game against the White Sox. Even though he allowed two runs in the eighth inning of his five-out save, he was extremely impressive - striking out the side in the ninth inning to secure the 6-4 win against the first-place White Sox.
