On Tuesday, we corrected earlier reports, and wrote that Kerry Wood was unlikely to be placed on the disabled list. Well, now it appears that the initial reports might indeed be correct. Wood is responding poorly to the new treatment for the blister on his right index finger, and could be placed on the DL after all.
