According to SI.com, the Pirates have eased up on their asking price for Xavier Nady (12 HR, 56 RBIs, .327). Nady, who is obviously having a great year, is drawing a great deal of interest from many teams, but the Pirates' asking price is apparently much too high. The team is demanding two high-end prospects, but considering that their outfield already consists of Nate McClouth and Jason Bay with Andrew McCutchen looming in Triple-A, most teams waited for the Pirates to drop their asking price. Which is something that happend in the last couple days.
