Orioles prospect Adam Loewen will attempt to mirror Rick Ankiel and return to the major leagues as a position player after he needed elbow surgery that would keep him out until 2010. But unlike Ankiel, Loewen did not hit in the minor leagues and only has had two big league at-bats, so the odds are definitely against him.
