Toronto's Dustin McGowan will not undergo surgery on his inflammed pitching shoulder.  This verdict was reached by the team's doctors after comparing McGowan's MRI from last year against this year's. The team's doctors concluded that there was no significant additional damage in his shoulder, so now it appears that McGowan will go through rehab to get his shoulder back healthy. But, just to be sure, McGowan will visit a specialist tomorrow to confirm that all he has is shoulder inflammation.
