Rumors surrounding the Diamondbacks and their bid for contreversial OF Barry Bonds have fizzled quickly. Arizona GM Josh Byrnes expressed that the team had a number of internal conversations about potential signings or trades, but in the end, adding Barry Bonds just isn't an option the team wants to pursue.
