Boston pitcher Curt Schilling underwent season-ending shoulder surgery two weeks ago and is still undecided about returning for the 2009 season. He is just beginning the initial phases of rehab. Schilling, a six-time All Star and three-time world champion, will be 42 years old when next season starts.
